It is with great sadness that all heard of the recent passing of 1964 premiership player, Tony Anderson.

A member of the 1964 premiership team, Anderson played 75 games for Melbourne after making his senior debut early in 1963.

1964 was a resounding success for Anderson, with Victorian selection to complement the premiership win.

Wearing No. 11, Anderson hung up his boots early in the 1969 season, ultimately moving into the building and property development industry.

We offer our most sincere condolences to the Anderson family, and to Tony’s teammates and friends.
